This Playlist provides younger students various activities that teaches them the importance of understanding the emotions of their peers.

In this activity, students meditate as a group. Be aware that students of this age may sometimes seem to fidget or move excessively during meditation, but that does not always mean that they are not fully engaged with the activity and the inner visualization.

Tell students in advance that they will be discussing or journaling about their experiences after the meditation activity, which can help them engage with the experience. The group discussion can also help enrich the practice for students, as they will gain ideas they can use in future practice.
