Presenting information in attractive visual formats, such as posters, flyers, and brochures, is a frequently used tool of community and tourism organizations, businesses and trades, zoos and museums, as well as other groups that want to promote themselves or their causes to the public. Design elements are key to attracting viewers and helping them perceive and understand the information and intended message. In this activity, students will study and compare examples of informational products and then conceptualize, plan, and design an informational product of their own.
