T-shirts are customized for sports teams, special events, musical groups, and personal expressions of all kinds. In this activity, students research and discuss the kinds of statements that can be made on a T-shirt and then brainstorm ideas and sketch their T-shirt designs.

The design elements of these products are key to attracting viewers and helping promote understanding of the information and the intended message. In this activity, students analyze and evaluate examples of informational products. Then, they generate plans and then design an informational product of their own.
