In this activity, two student groups investigate how melting ice affects water levels. The two groups compare the effects of floating ice and land ice. Students also research before-and-after images of melting glaciers and look for evidence that glaciers are either melting or not melting. This activity builds awareness about how melting ice affects the water level of Earth’s oceans.
